This rings true, but it makes a point that is only part of "the problem" or dilemma.
We do struggle with our true identity, unaware and/or uneducated about our relationship to God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
Our struggle...or our state of perplexity...is with our lack of knowledge of our nature but also our lack of knowing who God is.
